Well half term is over and a new term is about to begin! I hope all teachers have had a restful week off with as little work as possible!
I always aim to organise myself a little on a weekend with a bit of self care.
I prep myself some healthy lunches for the week. This makes a huge difference! It’s great knowing that there’s one less job on my to to list.
I also prep a few healthy evening meals to come home to. I especially make sure I have something prepped on Tuesday as it’s staff meeting day and it feels great to come home to a healthy meal that’s already cooked!
As part of self care I also iron a few dresses and clothes for the week! It’s the little things that make a big difference.
I always plan to fit in at least 2 gym sessions or book an evening class to help me relax and unwind. Leaving the gym feeing refreshed really puts me in the right mindset for work the next day.
Self care is definitely a must so make time for you this half term!
